Before you email
A few things that answer most of what people ask:
- I forgot my password. Tap “Forgot password” on the login screen. You don't need to email us for this.
- My photo shows “Anchoring” instead of “Verified.” This is normal — photos are batched and anchored to the blockchain every few minutes. The badge flips to Verified automatically once the batch lands on-chain, usually within a minute or two.
- How do I delete my account? Settings → Account → Delete Account. Your profile, posts, comments, and follows are removed from our servers within 30 days. The public on-chain fingerprints of photos you anchored remain because public blockchains are immutable by design, but they are one-way hashes and cannot be reversed back into a photo.
- How do I share a verified photo? Tap the share icon on any post — you get a public URL at jinuine.com/v/<id> that shows the photo and its cryptographic proof without requiring the recipient to install the app.
